Terroir

From Bas Armagnac

Armagnac Cerbois is made from grapes grown in the vineyards of Bas Armagnac, in the most highly regarded terroir at Maignan-Eauze, in the heart of Armagnac. The terroir, famous for producing the most prestigious armagnacs, consists of the famous "sables fauves" – an iron-rich sandy soil of an ochre color.

Bas Armagnacs have a particularly fine and round bouquet with distinctive violet and plum aromas, acquiring an unrivalled richness of flavor with age.
